The Problem of Doubt – Believing When It Seems Impossible

Doubt and unbelief are not harmless struggles—they shape what we receive from God. Scripture shows that doubt makes us double minded and unstable, while unbelief hardens the heart and blocks the flow of God’s promises.

From Israel in the wilderness to the disciples walking with Jesus, the Bible consistently warns us that unbelief keeps us from entering God’s rest. Faith grows when we choose to trust God’s Word above what we see, feel, or hear.

To stay in faith, we must keep our hearts soft, our minds anchored in Scripture, and our eyes fixed on God’s faithfulness.

“All the impossibility is not with God — it is with us when we measure Him by the limits of our unbelief.” Smith Wigglesworth
