The Spiny Start
Some plants are spiky for protection… and people can be too

God’s Design
God didn’t make us to be spiky—He made us to be fruitful

Defensive Mechanisms
Fear, trauma, stress, or frustration can make us defensive

Freedom in Christ
Jesus sets us free from fear, hurt, and defensive barriers

The Hidden Fruit
But even behind the spines, there is sweetness and fruitfulness

Reflection / Takeaway
Your spikiness doesn’t define your destiny—fruitfulness does
From Spikiness to Fruitfulness
Like the pomegranate, we can be spiky as a form of protection. Stress, trauma, and fear can make us defensive, short-tempered, or withdrawn. But God did not create us to live in fear or spikiness.
✨ Jesus died to set us free, so we can live abundantly, bear fruit, and embrace our purpose.
What “spines” are holding your blessing back today? How might God’s love make them unnecessary?
“So if the Son sets you free, you are truly free.” – John 8:36
