“What if the issue isn’t what you’re doing… but why you’re doing it?”
You can pray.
Serve.
Give.
Worship.
Even sacrifice.
And still be seeking the wrong audience.
Jesus wasn’t just concerned with outward behaviour.
He cared about the heart.
Because it’s possible to do spiritual things while quietly craving approval.
Validation.
Recognition.
But Kingdom living asks:
Who are you really trying to please?
The crowd?
Or the Father who sees in secret?
Real devotion isn’t performance.
It’s surrender.
Who do you struggle to seek approval from the most?
○ People
○ Family
○ Church
○ God’s opinion matters most
