The disciples were sent out with a purpose, but their journey wasn’t simply about what they would do. It would reveal something about trust, courage, priorities and where true joy is found. There is a challenge here for every follower of Jesus. We can admire what God is doing from a distance, or we can make ourselves available and become part of what He is doing around us.
But what might be holding us back?
What has captured our attention?
And are we willing to trust God enough to step into the assignment He has placed before us?
Sometimes the biggest step of faith is simply saying, “Lord, send me.”
