A Testing Time -Trust First, Act Last

Even when we step out in faith, testing times can shake our trust—just like Abram faced during the famine in Canaan. Out of fear, he acted on his own understanding instead of trusting God, leading to a difficult situation with Sarai in Egypt. Yet God’s grace rescued him, reminding us that His wisdom, power, and timing are perfect.

Psalm 27:1 says it best: “The LORD is my light and my salvation; whom shall I fear? The LORD is the strength of my life; of whom shall I be afraid?”

When fear tempts you to act hastily, remember: trusting God first saves heart, mind, and life.

How do you respond when your faith is tested—do you pause to seek God, or try to solve things on your own?
