STORIES AND REFLECTIONS
Hi! I’m John. I’ve always loved writing creatively. I remember the thrill of first seeing my work in print – a poem in the School Magazine. Later, in the process of accepting Jesus Christ as my Lord and Saviour when I was at University, I found myself writing about that whole journey from unbelief to belief.
Now after a long pause I have returned to this first love. I am once again writing stories, both long (which I will serialise) and short, about how lives are completely changed, renewed and transformed by the healing power of God’s love. My words will tell of this new relationship that brings with it abundant life. It is a life that brings with it a deep peace, that Hebrew concept of shalom, that the world cannot supply, no matter how hard it tries!
And I will also post short reflections as God, by His Holy Spirit, reveals precious insights of his love for each one of us and the purposes He has for all our lives.
I love storytelling, so I hope these blog posts, based on my own experience of God – as Father, Son and Holy Spirit, may bring others closer to Him too. I pray that those who read my words may experience for themselves their own “journey of restoration”, their own journey into an ever deepening relationship with a loving, forgiving and yet all-powerful Father.
