Coming This Week on Bearing Kingdom Fruit

Monday 27th – “Prisoner 83839 says he doesn’t need anything!”

At first glance, it sounds impossible.

How could someone facing imprisonment, uncertainty, and hardship honestly say they needed nothing? In a world constantly telling us we need more to be happy, this remarkable reflection invites us to discover a very different way of living.

Join us this week as John  explores one of the Bible’s greatest lessons on contentment, revealing a secret that transformed the life of the Apostle Paul—and still has the power to transform ours today.

Could true peace have less to do with our circumstances than we imagine?

Keep an eye on Bearing Kingdom Fruit this week and discover the life-changing secret behind a contentment that no prison, hardship, or trial could ever steal.

Wednesday 29th – God looks at the heart.

What if the thing that matters most to God is the very thing we so often overlook?

This week, we invite you to journey through a thought-provoking Bible study by Jill that explores one of Scripture’s most searching truths: God looks at the heart.

In a world that encourages us to focus on appearances, achievements, and outward success, God’s gaze reaches far deeper. He sees our motives, our desires, our struggles, and the hidden places no one else can see. But rather than exposing us to shame, He lovingly invites us into a life of genuine transformation.

Through this Bible study, we’ll discover why the condition of our hearts matters so much to God, what the Bible really means when it speaks about the heart, and why lasting change can only begin from the inside out. Along the way, we’ll be challenged to move beyond outward religion and allow the Holy Spirit to shape us into people whose hearts truly reflect Christ.

Whether you’ve been walking with the Lord for many years or are longing to grow deeper in your faith, this study will encourage you to pause, invite God to search your heart, and rediscover the beauty of a life fully surrendered to Him.

Join us this week as we open God’s Word together and explore the heart He delights to transform.

Friday 31st – Which Road Are You On?

Part 15 of our Sermon on the Mount Series
By Jill Partis

Every journey begins with a choice.

Some paths appear inviting, comfortable, and well travelled, while others seem far more demanding and uncertain. Yet appearances can be deceptive, and the destination is far more important than the ease of the journey.

In this week’s devotional, we’ll explore one of the most searching passages in the Sermon on the Mount, where Jesus presents a powerful picture that still speaks into our lives today. His words challenge us to think carefully about the direction we’re taking, the influences we’re following, and the foundation upon which we’ve built our faith.

How do we recognise truth in a world filled with competing voices? What does genuine discipleship really look like? And how can we be sure we’re walking the path that leads to life?

This thought-provoking study encourages us not only to examine our beliefs but also the fruit our lives are producing and the One we are choosing to follow.

Take some time this week to open God’s Word with us and prayerfully consider a question that every one of us must answer:

Which road are you on?
