Fear, stress, trauma, and past hurts can cause us to build emotional walls that keep others at a distance. While these defences may have once felt necessary for protection, they can also hinder the work God wants to do in and through us.
Jesus invites us to exchange fear for His perfect love, trusting in His provision, forgiveness, and care. As we surrender our wounds to Him, His Spirit softens our hearts and enables us to bear lasting fruit—love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control—for His glory.

Reflection Question
Are there areas of fear or past hurt that have caused you to become defensive, and how might God be inviting you to trust His love instead?
